I find myself switching frequently between my pallet forks and bucket, and I tend to move them both around a lot.

Of course, it's a no-brainer that you can pick up your bucket with your forks but thought I'd mention that you can pick up your forks with your bucket. The quick attachment points at the top of the forks protrude just far enough that you can fit the lip of your bucket underneath them.

You can't really move a load like this (nor would you want to) b/c the forks can't be curled level but it's a handy way to move them around without taking the bucket off.

If you have teeth you could weld a large eyelet on top of the forks in the center. Use a tooth to lift the forks from the eyelet
