Reminds me of an incident I witnessed, about 30 years ago, when I worked in Tacoma.
It was a snowy, slippery day. When I went out in back of the office to get my truck, there was a 4WD pickup parked next to the curb. From the truck's trailer hitch ran a log chain to the bumper of a car that was hanging over the bank. They don't call it "Cliff Street" for nuthin'.
It seems the car owner got stuck in his parking space, and Mr Samaritan came by with his 4WD. He hooked up the car, the owner put his car in gear, got out, and helped push. Well, the car came unstuck and backed over the cliff.
Mr Samaritan asked me, as I walked by, "Do you have a hacksaw?"
Unfortunately, I didn't.
