For the uninitiated, Leo and me started a relationship a couple of years ago. First it was pm's about this or that or the other.

Then it was phone calls.

Then it was a web page.

Then one day in conversation he mentioned his birthday in July. I asked when in July. He said the third of July.

That's my birthday too.

Evidently that's the tie that got us to bond you think?

After all I've only met one other person who had the same birthday as me. I got to work with him for a day in San Antonio but didn't get to talk much.

So Leo's not only a great guy with a great wife (tractor widow) he's also a sharer of a day.

Several months after we were married, my wife and I discovered both of our fathers had the same birthday, July 28. But her dad was 11 years older than mine.

My newest son in law had his birthday yesterday. The father of my newest grandson shares my mother's birthday, June 18th. And of course my wife and father's birthdays are only two days a apart in March.

You get some of that rain this morning Bird? Last night I was digging in gumbo muck that was dry on top but a bog below. This little bit of rain will make it even more interesting.

Just a very little bit, Harv. Yesterday morning, my grandson and I went at the mowing, even though we still had some puddles in the yards. When we moved over here next door to our daughter and grandson, he was mowing their yard and one neighbor's yard, then a couple of months ago, another neighbor asked if we'd take care of her yard. So we had 4 to do yesterday; got about half way through before another neighbor came out and asked my grandson if he'd do hers. We were almost through when it was getting close to time for my grandson to go to Hurricane Harbor with the church group, so I told him to go ahead and I'd finish. Then just as I finished, another neighbor came to ask if I could do her yard. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Fortunately, they're all small yards, but irregularly shaped with lots of flower beds, storage buildings, water hydrants, gas meters, telephone pedestals, etc. to mow around. So we got all 6 of them done, and now I hope the guys on the Waste Management truck don't revolt this morning when they find eleven 33 gallon bags of grass clippings packed as tight and heavy as we could make them. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
