Every evening during the week PBS does the "HONOR ROLL". It's the names and pictures of our soldiers that was released by the Defense Department that day as killed in action.

Tonight there was twenty. I think I counted fourteen of them that were young Marines.

I once wrote a poem.

The politicians from their perch on high

Say, "sure American boys might have to die."

With the big picture in mind

It's easy to be so kind

Because for their own they won't have to cry.

Belated Birthday!!

Was supposed to attend the local birthday ball last night, but ended up pulling a 16 hour.

Will end up getting up with buddies later in the weekend to share a beer and salute the past, present, and future.
