Happy, Unhappy with my PT

I have noted that different parts break for different users. I have not had the problems that some have had. But I have replaced the seal in the steering valve and the seal in my tiller motor. Both problems are rarely noted on this board. It appears that no one component is failing for everyone. The PT is assembled with off the self components. Due to the luck of the draw some of those parts fail sooner than others.

Happy (somewhat extremely moderately happy)

Problems to date:
1) Hour meter quit at 235
2) Blown head gasket (Kohler) at 350 hrs
3) Two Wheel motors (white) destroyed
4) broken welds on lift arms - eventually replace entire assembly
5) numerous flats on tractor from poorly designed dual valve stems
6) numerous flats on mower - went to solid wheels
7) broken welds on mower deck
8) leaking hydraulic oil tank
9) constant problem with 6 way valve for lift arm/aux
10) Mower deck blades - coming loose every time I mow
11) numerous flats on 2 ply tires - went to 6 ply
Money spent to fix all these problems - about $2.2K over 4 years.

Do I like the machine? Love it, just wish it was less prone to breaking.

Only one problem...leak in fuel tank outlet. Easily fixed.
