Well, the honeymoon is over. . . the formal one, that is. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Kathy and I rolled back to Sunset last night about 12:00 PM. Since Virginia is for lovers (as the old slogan goes) we went there on our honeymoon. We did the Blue Ridge Mountains and stayed in a cabin along Skyline Drive, toured Williamsburg and Jamestown, drove across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel to visit the eastern shore farms, and got sand between our toes in Virginia Beach. We had a terrific time; wish we could have stayed longer. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I even found a house I used to own in Deep Creek, VA when I was in the US Navy, and it is still virtually unchanged. The only thing they've done is cut down some of the trees in the yard. The room addition I did completely by myself over 30 years ago is still the same as before and still looks good from the outside. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

On Wednesday, the 16th, I was shocked when my phone rang and it was Vin calling from Australia. What a rush! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif We talked for almost an hour. It made me feel really good to have a TBN friend from so far away give me a call and wish us well. Vin, Kathy and I are truly grateful for your kindness and good wishes.

Don, thanks for posting the picture of the champagne toast at the TBN fishfry back in April. Mike and Bernice really surprised us with that bottle of bubbly. Also, Kathy and I haven't used the hammock yet, but when the weather cools to the low 80's this fall, I bet we find a good spot to put it up.

Thanks to everyone for all your good wishes. You can bet that I'll still be around TBN a bunch. Kathy has her own tractor, so she understands the "TBN attraction" and you just might see her registered and posting here in the future. I agree with everyone that I'm one very lucky fellow to have found a dear sweet woman like Kathy. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now that's funny, Ken. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif After the wedding the photographer came to our house to take a few pictures of us. Kathy wanted to know if I wanted to take a couple of pictures with the tractor, but it was very dirty and I didn't want to take a chance at getting her beautiful wedding dress dirty. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif We'll just have to wait and take a couole of shots of us in normal work clothes and include the tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
