Just got an email from Harbor Freight.

The Titanium 125 Flux Core Wire Welder is on sale for $169.99

That is a bargain. I bought mine for about the same, used it with a Honda generator to fix my gate and saved $ over hiring someone with an engine drive machine.

I got mine for that price or $159. Either way it is cheap enough to buy one. I keep mine ready for FCAW and my Vulcan with solid wire (it can stick and TIG also). The Titanium welds good enough for most projects so that I dont have to change out the wire. So with my Miller 250 Dialarc for stick, I have everything ready to weld (including my oxy-acetylene rig. It only takes a minute to switch my Miller over to TIG if I need to do that also. I keep the Everlast ready to do plasma cutting if needed but it can do stick or TIG also with some switching of controls. Now just need some decent weather to work in. Lows supposed to get down to around 0F this weekend with wind chill -15 or so. That is too cold for me to work unless it is emergency work.

Gary I went out and bought one after reading this and watching some video reviews. I won't say I was running beads like an expert after trying it out but I was surprised mow fast I could do something that I was willing to show people. I picked up some Hobart .035 at TSC on sale $20/2 lb spool and my BIL gave me a .035 tip. Seems they are a common tip similar to his Miller. I haven't tried the .035 since it's too cold to weld in my unheated/insulated shop. The heated shop is for woodworking and I didn't think it was safe to weld in there.

I got it at the sale price less the 20% off coupon = $170-34=$136
