Harbor Freight Finish Mower

I'm seeing a boxed axle arm on the Harbor Freight mower. Look at the one nearest the tractor's right rear tire.

Yes, I see what you're talking about.

Mine is identical to the HF unit, having arm or "leg" extensions made from square tubing, telescoping into a square tube attached to the deck. That design looks weak, but has given me no trouble.

My main problem is, the wheel assemblies break where the 1" swivel pin is welded to the "fork". I'm going to weld them back on, and reinforce the 2 that haven't broken yet. (or at least anneal them).
