I have a Yanmar 1500d with 3point hitch. Probably Cat-0. Any suggestions on using the quick hitch with my setup?

My cousin bought one of those in CAT I. It would fit one of his implements. That's it. He would probably sell it to you cheap. :D

Tractordata says your 1500 has a cat 1 - 3 pt.
If it is the HF quick hitch would work.
Check the attached chart. If you have 20" width you may be Cat 0. 26-27" Cat 1

I have one that I use. I have a cat 1 tractor though. I did have to do some grinding on the hooks so it would fit my tiller. I removed about an 8th of an inch on both sides. I got it on sale for 79 dollars so I figured since it was so cheap I'd give it a shot. It's worth that at least.

His problem is his implements, not the hitch. I have had mine 20 yrs before the I-Match came out. Fits most of mine, but some of my older attachments have had some modifications to make fit (not because of the hitch). The hitch has the same dimensions as an I-Match or any other brand.

Don't wast your time and $$$ like FOOT said attachments for the most part won't fit and will need changing some easy but some not so easy. I would sell ya mine for a bargain if you were closer, get a set of Pat's like I did fit all with no troubles, just a little longer but worth the $$$

I bought one a few years back as the price was too good to pass up. Once I tried to hook up my attachments, I realized quickly that I should have passed it up and back it went. None of my implements would fit and I was unwilling to make any "modifications" to them. Seems to defeat the purpose of a quick hitch IMO.

I would suggest checking out the Pats system or something similar. Bit more pricey, but well worth it for me and you will have it for a long time.

You will need to look at your implements and use and see if the HF will work for you. I couldn't live without mine. Yes, the hooks were not forged exactly square and it took 10 minutes with a grinder to fix them. My box blade and boom pole are quick hitch compatible and work directly. I built my own trailer receiver/draw bar so it fits perfectly also. My log splitter requires the HF adjustable hook to be moved and I still have to get off the tractor to connect the top pin, but it's still a lot easier. My Chinese snowblower needed a good bit of work, but it was screwed up from the start and didn't work exactly right with the original 3 point hitch either.
