Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

So what do you get when you cross one HF freebie that sucks and one that rocks? The ultimate headlamp. The incandescent headlamp has a great strap but the light itself really sucks. The blue LED light rocks but wouldn't it be handy as a headlamp? I'm using this in my crawl space and it really lights it up down there.
I like it! Might have to try that.

That's what I thought, but I saw it on the interwebs, so .....

FYI, my dun blowed up 6HP Briggs has a 1" shaft which it what I'm looking to replace without having to use an adapter.
Why not use an adapter? They are on Amazon for $13

A, I don't do AMZ any more.

B, I found them on some other sites (for less), but the guy making them didn't think they would handle the torque of the chipper/shredder I need it for.

Is it just me or are the latest round of 20% off coupons useless?

Got a catalog this past week. Had two 20% super coupons on it. One was a green sticker that expires 2/28/2019 and the other is a typical blue cutout that expires on 3/31/2019. Both have a big long list of stuff they cannot be used for. Most of the brands HF carry are listed, as are most items of any size (cabinets and carts and such).

Super Coupon is now just a Stupid Coupon. Not only are you limited to buying very few select items, the coupon is only good for ONE ITEM only.

What really sucks about the timing is they finally opened a store somewhat near me and I was planning some purchases I've wanted for years. Without usable coupons, there really is no reason to shop there. There are similar places to get similar items for similar prices where I don't have to drive as far.

And at that point... Likely better quality, better warranty period and at least a chance of customer support or replacement parts.

Everyone pretty much knows that anything from HF is junk once the first part of the item wears or breaks. Replacement parts are about non-existent.

I never have a problem finding uses for the %off coupons. Most of the hand tools, blades, drill bits, electrical accessory and garden items, trailer parts and hitches, tool boxes (not carts or cabinets), yadda, yadda, yadda .....

It's always been ONE %off item per visit and ONE free item per visit, though some of us have found that some cashiers are more lax about those things if you do two transactions.
