Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

And to try and get back on topic, does anyone have the 20gal rolling oil drain? Now that my lift is in I need one, the HF model looks nice and appears the 20% off coupon will work for it.

I have one that is about 10 years old and there is nothing wrong with it, I would buy again.

AVE is a smart guy with some interesting content but I could do without the cussing for sure. Some are not worth watching. Keep the F-bombs out and I would really like it better. Project Farm does great reviews without cussing, good content. Vice Grip Garage is comical and interesting while keeping things clean. Stand up comedy with cussing is not worth watching to me, just not funny. I'm surprised YT doesn't force a minimum age for some of the profane videos seeing they do for some movie clips.

Back to HF, anyone try a poly hose like below? Sick of the rubber ones I have being hard to manage especially in cold weather.
1/4 in. x 25 ft. Polyurethane Air Hose

They are just ok in my opinion. Had 2, one ruptured and I only run 135 psi line pressure, the outer jacket failed and split. The second one is still going but the big issue with me at least is when it's cold it don't want to hang up neatly. remember, I live up north. Now maybe in Florida would be a non issue but here, big issue.

I still prefer the red rubber air hose. Costs more but is more durable.

Pretty much garbage in my book. I bought that exact thing, once you uncoil it its almost impossible to recoil it, kept tripping me all the time.. bout 3 weeks and it was gone!

I have the smaller one (5 gallons maybe?) and it works fine. The funnel on the top was plastic and on a cold day it broke when something hit it (not very hard). I didn't try to buy a replacement from HF. Instead I got a steel one for a Lincoln from Amazon that was pretty easy to make fit. The only other issue was the paint was coming off the outside bottom where the wheels bolted to it and along the welded seam. I figured the inside wouldn't rust but the outside would so I made sure to prime/ paint it with bed liner. In 10+ years I haven't seen any rust. If I had to do it over I probably would have gotten the larger one but as long as the one I have now works just fine (dumping the oil out is a little messy) I doubt I'll upgrade. It's real nice to use under a lift as you can put the funnel pretty much right under the drain plug and filter so the oil doesn't make a mess.

Years ago, I noticed that when I ask for advice on a forum the ratio of unhelpful responses to helpful ones is approximately five to one. Still, the helpful ones are worth sorting through the others as long as none make matters worse.

I find that ratio varies tremendously from forum to forum. A lot has to do with how much BS the administrators are willing to put up with. Even when the admins don't directly jump on posts with inaccurate information, those forums where rudeness and personal attacks are not tolerated also seem to have a better "junk:helpful" ratio than unmoderated or less tightly moderated forums. I suspect the jerks who are intentionally posting incorrect information eventually get kicked off for other reasons or simply realize that they wont be tolerated and leave on their own.
