Stopped by HF to look at the saw horses. Twernt none on the shelf so I asked the manager if she had any in the back.
Told me they were out of them and said she was working on restock orders.
She then showed me her order sheets showing zero stock on lots of items. Didn’t know when or if they would get restocked.

Their kneeling pad #56572 is great for my knees. Thick and doesn’t compress to nothing while in use.

Krause & Becker airless sprayer from HF rocked it for me! I'm finishing our basement and wanted to spray primer on all the walls and ceilings. Looked into renting a sprayer and it was actually cheaper to buy the K&B from HF. I put about 8 gallons of paint through it and gave it a good cleaning. Now I'll sell it and come out even further ahead!

I have my decade old CH airless. Works fine. The trick to keeping any airless working is keeping it clean after using. Just painted my entire hip roof barn with mine. 3 5 gallon pails of red barn paint and 5 gallons of silver roof paint (and a rented high reach).

Oh fun! I used to paint barns (amongst other things) for a living! I did the roofs from the roof.. ladders for the sides. Still have ladders up to 40 feet, but I never use them anymore, thank God!

How much over spray? I just attached a shed roof (think porch) to the side of the house. I'd like to paint the underside of it (OSB on 2x6s), but I don't want paint all over everything else including the siding and I'm not keen on the idea of hanging drop cloths everywhere.

Get a spray shield, something like the one below... I like a longer handle than that one has though.. any paint store or big box store will have them, hardware stores too.

I'm cheap. Standard operating equipment for me (for my free hand) is a latex glove and a piece of corrugated cardboard. I still manage to paint my arm however....

Airless painting is a lot like spraying a field with herbicide. You don't spay on a windy day.

I bought one of their "manual" vacuum pumps for changing brake fluid on my Harley.. it works very well!
