Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I bought a set of metric Icon hex sockets, seem pretty decent for the money. Haven't really tested them hard yet but seem to be better then the Pittsburgh ones, which I've twisted a few off in the past.

You are right. I don't need an answer to any of my questions. Deleted the post.

Deleted mine as well. This thread should be about HF tools. Veering off in this direction will get the thread closed.

I saw that, not a bad price, I had to double check but I still got $50 better than that with the 25% off anything deal a while ago...

Those are a really nice box, I don't have a floor to put the box on and start using yet (it's jus shoved in a "path" in the garage until the shop floor is done) but I'm not sure how crazy I'm going to be about the drawer latches, not that they'll be too hard to bypass... So far I'm shoving stuff in the box, have some sockets in organizers but can't get a feel for it so they aren't layed out and don't have wrenches organized...

On another note, I have a US General 4 drawer cart that needs two drawer slides, I got it second hand so don't have the missing bearings from the slides to put them back, any recommendations? I imagine I'll have to replace both slides on both drawers since it's two left side slides...

Dan, thanks, now I just gotta look through some models to see what's close in depth, most slide sets are only $16 so not even that bad...

If you added a 2x8 to these, what would happen to the capacity? Would it take my MT125 (1450lbs + loaded tires + me)? Maybe add a couple of 4x4 braces underneath as well?

No. Your tractor is 1450 plus your loader of around 800 plus your loaded tires of what... 400 lbs. Your at around 2500-2700 lbs.

So no. Putting a board under a cheap set of little atv ramps is not going to be conducive to you safely loading 3 times the ramps rates load without killing yourself. No loader? Your still at double the rated weight limit. Again.... no. Putting your board under it doesn't double the capacity.

Killing himself off a set of 6' ramps is going to be pretty difficult.

No loader. That would be left off, but it would still have whatever frame for it. Not sure what the tire loaded weight is.

I'd be looking at something like this with some added 4x4s under the planks and ramps

Thing is, even their $125 trifold ramp only shows 1500 lbs and I'm not sure it's wide enough.
