Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

For some reason that word in the description causes HF's ad software to show it as a closeout. It isn't. It's been shown as 'clearance, closeout' for some 15 years now.

That's about when I got my QH from them. I think I paid less than $80 back then. It's still in use.

"Clearance" doesn't mean what it says. It just a description of the measurement between lower hooks.

So the 20% coupon doesn't conflict with any discount.

And - Maverick you did good. HF's QH is my most-used HF purchase ever. Recommended!

I noticed they had a top link there too. It's on my list to snag next time around. It's good to have a spare or two.

I bought HF's Top Link and found it is too long for everything on my Yanmars except tipping the box blade back extremely (for smooth grading).

Check this before buying!

Everybody, jump on this if you need one, the quality is same as all the store brands that sell at 3x the price.

But also buy the replacement top hook with offset holes so the hook extends our farther from the hitch chassis, if needed for clearance on your implements.

re Quick Hitch Clearance / Closeout:

I just did HF's 'Check Other Stores'.

Every store in a 200 mile radius from the San Francisco Bay Area - Arcata to Reno to Fresno, 50 stores and including California's Central Valley which is a huge ag area, reports they have the QH in stock. Only one of the 50 shows Limited Stock.

Maybe the closeout is regional???

Post on here showing Speeco's upgrade Top Hook with the offset holes for more clearance.

HF magnet tool bar, cut down and welded on the QH so clips and linch pins don't fall down in the weeds when adjusting the top hook.

Tow bar modified so the trailer ball stays upright. Both ends of the strap are bolted to existing holes.

Temporary rear ballast, when backfilling a trench in a very tight space between barn and fence. I should have also had that towbar on, to get the weight a little farther back and reduce swinging.
