It's a good buy. One of the Techinicians at work has one.
Interestingly, Snap-On has the same exact cart but their's is blue (Blue Point) and their's says Snap-On on the front. It's 300 bucks.:confused2:

Another great tool at a great price is the HF refrigerated air dryer. Half the price of the IR unit with comparable specs. Never on sale however. HF knows it's a winner.
I got mine on sale via internet sales but it arrived beat up in transit and so they sent me another one. Works fine.
I installed conventionally but... Why couldn't a dryer like this be installed in the input side of the compressor? That would reduce the condensate quantity and maybe extend the life of the air tank. Also there would be no pressure on the heat exchanger as the air going in would not be compressed beyond ambient (1 atmosphere)
If the compressor input would "starve" for air then install a small "accumulator" tank between the dryer and the input to the compressor to average out the flow.
