Does the HF EARTHQUAKE 1/2 inch impact wrench suck or not suck?

I have a Campbell Hausfield 1/2 inch impact wrench that isn't worth a flip to take off lug nuts.

The HF Earthquake is on sale now ($20) off the $100 price and with the 20% coupon I thought it might be worth a try at $64. However if someone has tried it and has a suck/not suck opinion that would interest me.

It does not suck, IMO. I have the 1/2" unit, and it replaced a crappy
Taiwanese one I bought in the late 70s I think. Don't expect it to take
off tractor rear wheel lug nuts, however. I paid about $70 about 5 or 6
y ago.

got the 9 piece Pittsburgh standard wrenches in its own plastic carrier. I felt it was a bit light for a wrench but with a coupon for 6 bucks i figures it couldn't be a total loss. I have craftman and promarks wrenches that i use on heavy repairs but use the Pittsburgh for everything else just for the ease of carrying and light duty work. seems to work for me. I just hate having my good tools on the other end of garage where it doesn't belong on a simple project and needed a good tool from the cabinet.

I have the 3/4" Earthquake, and it's worked fine. Main reason to purchase it was because I needed something big to take the blades off my bush hog.

I have three 1/2" drive impact wrenchs: CH, Craftsman and HF Earthquake. The HF Earthquake is by far superior to the others. I have yet to find any lug nuts or tractor accessory nuts that it will not loosen.

That's the information I was looking for. What pressure do you use?

I have an ingersolrand (not sure how it's spelled) twin hammer 1/2 in drive impact. It's rated for 600 ft lbs. It does pretty good, loosens about anything at 150 psi. Not too great at the recomended 90 psi. I used to have a CH 1/2 in. impact, that thing was weak. You get what you pay for. Another thing to remember about impacts is they loose alot of power if you use them with extensions or even non-impact sockets. They have only so much travel between "beats" If you have slop in the sockets/ extentions it takes alot away from them. I also use the big fittings for more volume of air.
