Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Oh, i almost forgot. I also like my 110 volt spot welder that i got from harbor freight. I dont use it too often, but needed it yesterday, and it worked great.

Nice work with the pipe bender. You should post about that project in the projects section too. I particularly like the rear rack. Great place for a tool box, chain and other supplies.

I swooped down on Harbor Freight to take advantage of their dollar days sale. The item I like most is this magnetic tool holding strip for $3 - really strong magnet.

Just a quick poll: Is there anyone that goes into HF for what they originally went to purchase, and come out with only that item? Extra stuff always seems to 'jump' into my cart!

Well, HF recently opened a store in my berg, Bellingham WA, after several false starts and delays of stated schedule. Yea! Now I don't have to drive an hour south to get to the next nearest one in Everett. Anyhow, I went to the long anticipated grand opening, and was so overwhelmed with the plethora of stuff AND the crowds, that I actually left empty handed!

It didn't feel quite right to do so, but I had no immediate project needs in mind. I'll, however, likely not escape the sidewalk sale in the next week or so. Need to start accumulating some welding accessories at least ;' >

i went and got the magnets and a cheap tool box and put on my snow blower so i have shear pins etc in it. I also attached a box to the bx to hold stuff but i got also just like to take it off when washing etc.

I find it hard to resist small items on sale or clearance. I always seem to have two bags of that stuff, all under $5 each, each time I go. Of course I can never remember what I already own so I have about four cheap soldering irons and gobs of small clamps etc, some never used, in my garage .
