Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I regularly buy the XL 9mil black nitrile gloves. Use a coupon makes them very affordable and they are tough as all get with only the occasional tear out. I have had every normal day chemical you can think of on them and they haven't given out yet but do protect my hands.

Not suggesting he / they got a free tool are you.

No, I am saying that the money HF spends on advertising affects editorial content. This is why Consumer Reports has no ads. Money talks. Not saying anything wrong is going on, just to take magazine reviews with a grain of salt.

If you need safety wire, they're about the inly ones that seem to carry it. I walked into a hardware for some (to safety wire a motorcycle) and all I got was "Que?"

I can't say 'safety wire' and 'Harbor Freight' in the same sentence....

I will say I bought some air tools from them in 1980. The impact wrench and air chisel still work great. I just used the air chisel to take the lid off an oil drum a couple weeks ago. Worked like a can opener. Can't complain. The die grinder died pretty quick. The air ratchet got forgotten in a basement and was rusted, so that's not their fault.

Agreed. I buy the XL 9mil as well and use those for tougher jobs. But usually use the 7mil.

I bought the 20 ton shop press. It seems to work well.

The manual tire changer works well for what I paid for it.

I bought that one too... the grey one. Swapped out the hand actuated bottle jack with a pneumatic one and I love it. Way too much 'jacking' by hand.
