Hi Murph,

Yup- I thought about offering to proofread their copy for a nominal discount, but they obviously don't care- I have seen things in their store in at least 3 different places each with a different price tag in front of it.

I mean all they have to do is swap the shelf tags, when I was in retail stores, and the price on something changed, we had to physically retag every single one of them we could find/account for in the store- what a PITA.

Rewards for observant customers. Once you notice the two prices, you read the ads more carefully and completely.

But if I were to go buy it which price would they charge me?

Just like a fish, whichever one you were dumb enough to "bite" on :D

(Not meaning "you" specifically, but I'm pretty sure that's what would happen - I doubt that is accidental somehow)

Wouldn't swear to it, but I'm pretty sure I've seen as many as THREE different prices for the same thing in the same flyer.

Also, they used to quote their "regular" price to make you think you were really getting a deal - now they use "comparable", and jack that one up even more

"Caveat emptor" ain't dead yet, probably never will be... Steve

Thanks for the links.

I've about decided to go with their standard 40" tall stands and just raise one or two of my sections of pallet racking enough to clear. Heck what's losing 17' linear feet of "project space" going to matter?

You could wear "high heels" when working in your shop?

Oops! My error and can't edit it. Buy grey not orange 20T press. Better design/build.

Yep, the gray one. I just wish they were about 12" taller. As I previously posted, I plan to build up a base, to raise the press, with some 6-8" casters to make it more mobile.

My plates are steel.
