This has got to be the longest running thread I have ever seen.
This comment started the longest running thread debate. No mention of "your"....

But this is a good thread!!

I keep a couple of the large moving blankets around. Handy to have.

Handy, yes but if you keep in the barn, put in a plastic bag. The mice LOVE them.

Anybody know if the Microfiber Cleaning Cloths are suitable for cleaning eyeglasses? I've been using one on my welding helmet lens with no scratches or dulling of the window.

Not sure I'd clean my glasses with them since my shirt tail works so well. they are perfect, however, for dusting anything with them. The inside of the truck, dash, gauges, etc and no dust stays behind. That, if I would ever wax the truck, seems to be their highest purpose. Dust is just drawn to them and stays on the cloth. The surface looks too irregular to do a good job on glasses.

I discovered microfiber cloth is worthless in the real world. If you drop one in the woods you will never get the debris back out of the fibers. If you live in a clean world, they are OK. My world ain't clean. Probably cleaning glasses is OK if the rag is clean. I don't see why not.

Unless you are using a high quality microfiber cloth you may get micro scratches on the poly lenses. The cloth towels provided by optical places. Have a soft fine texture like silk.
I believe the lenses on a welding helmet is glass.
