Hey Ron, Rock is just trying to be patriotic! If you weren't trying to downsize, you would be right with him.

The side locker got filled up last night. I thought for a minute about my wedding chaps and jacket hanging in there.... But I'm trying to get things from shelves to go away into this box.

Instead of hanging 2 things, I did the upper shelf with all aerosol oils and lubricants.

Mid shelf car compounds, polishes, glass cleaner and paint sealants.

Bottom shelf with all of your electrical cleaner, brake clean, engine clean contact cleaner, terminal sealer and other similar stuff.

Bottom pull out drawer has two of the red shop towel bags and one of the blue shop paper towel rolls.

Outside door has rubber gloves and paper towel roll.

I've thrown some engine and transmission testing stuff up top, but I'm not sure that I want to do that. That stuff can be stacked together until the rare occasion that I need it, or I could consider boxing that stuff up.

It's going to take me time and likely a handful of redo attempts at getting the organization right.

I'm about out of space though. Maybe I should have spent more and got the dang 2 stacks of 56"? And I haven't even begin buying some of the bigger stuff like ball joint press and adapter kit, fuel injection line kits, 3 and 2 jaw pullers, and much more.

This also shows me that I'm weak in some areas, like 1/4". I need to add some options in that drawer. 20181103_211153.jpeg20181103_205625.jpeg20181103_205611.jpeg20181103_211000.jpeg

I appreciate seeing how others store their tools for efficient use.
May get me jealous, but helps me organize.

Yeah, we'll see how long this idea of individual hand carry boxes works out. I had one of the big HF units out in Olalla that I sold. Never did organize like Rock or I would have needed 2.

I'm not trying to have things hand carry it grab and go sets. I do have a pair of the 4 drawer roller carts that the plan is to have a basic tool set in both the one up here and the one in the lower level garages. That way if I need to work out in the driveway I can roll.
