Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Off topic a bit... But you know.. I'm always looking for deals. One man's trash is another man's treasure..

So I run across an add on FB for free concrete tables and benches. Half ton tables, 300 pound benches... I grabbed that up fast!

Now I need frozen ground so I can go down over the hill to my camp area and get these placed. I'm thinking that I'll need to attach my Jeep winch to the back of the tractor to keep it from flipping over forward, but I'll break every OSHA role ever written and I'll get them down

Anyone live near Pittsburgh and want a table and 2 benches? 20181118_101153.jpeg20181118_123134.jpeg

That's the issue.... LOL. I don't need 4 tables, but not many folks could move them. A standard B2650 couldn't lift them, I have my hydraulics cranked up a couple hundred psi over max factory and have 800 lbs of fluid in oversized tires and had 600 lbs on the rear. I had only enough hydraulics to curl a few inches, and the rear end was off the ground as much as on... And I was standing on the rear ballast adding my 180 lbs to it. Give it heck.... It's a tractor with a warranty

I'm really starting to consider going up 2 more frame sizes. But man, I do love this little tank! It's so amazing what this thing can do if you tweak it up a bit.

How do you bump the pressure? My L is a bit weak.....
On the side of the rear end, near the hydraulic filter, there is a hex headed cap that houses a coil spring. You pull that cap and spring and put a thin washer into the cap and then put the spring back in. I've never looked at an L, but the shim washers are available from Messicks. I used the BxPanded kit that I had for my old BX25 and the gauge and shims were perfect for my B2650. I bet it's the same for your L. It's a 10 minute job, extremely easy. I went to 200 psi above the maximum allowed in the work shop manual. To each their own... I would say to at least shim it to the maximum allowable... If not a hundred or so psi over.

I bet that if you search the forum there are threads about this, and maybe pictures showing the cap on your unit.

Been on the forums for years, and never an explanation that good.

I work at a machine shop. I'd hope shims would be easy...

I feel I'm way low compared to whatever spec is... Either way, she'll be going UP.

Thanks!

There should be a Full thread started on "Tired of Chinese flat tires." I know I have multiples. Dolly, 25 gallon liquid sprayer tank trailer....

Also, Chinese inner tubes are mostly crap. If anyone knows a good brand of Chinese inner tubes, let me know please.

Rural King sells a "Heavy Duty" tube that's the size required for most of the HF tube type leakers and I've had great results with it.

Heavy Duty Wheelbarrow Tire Tube 4-6 AE291G

This is what the box looks like but the one I use has a bent stem and called wagon tube or something like that. The straight stem is supposedly for a wheelbarrow but I have used it interchangeably. Anyway, the tube works for me and has not gone flat nor lost pressure. It's thicker and feels way better made but it's probably still foreign made.
