Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

So, those of you with organized tool boxes, what's your thoughts about socket organizers? Right now all of my sockets are in a single drawer, metric, standard and special all drive sizes all just in a heap... I likely have 10 10mm sockets but where? Here's links to the 3 options/styles from good ol HFT:

Fancy post style
Cheaper short post/tray style
Cheapest hole style

I'm leaning toward the middle option, I only included the standard version of the top two, bottom is metric and standard in one kit apparently. Top would obviously be nicer, slightly less wasted space but $50 for Metric and Standard, middle is $20 for metric and standard and bottom is $15.

On the other hand I just realized all options are likely not excluded from the 25% off coupon I just got emailed for this weekend, so if I send the wife through with one and I get one they'd be cheaper...

Still, opinions? $50 (or even $37.50 with discount) seems steep for organization...

For my shop box I primarily use the old socket rails with clips. In my truck I have a Montazuma triangle box with the build in pegs. The triangle box is the best box I have ever used.

Socket organizers...I want something I can take out to where I may be working, not a drawer liner thing.

I use and like the metal ones that used to be common. They're easy to cut to fit a shorter toolbox, too.

Also you can mix and match 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drives as needed.

I left out that style on purpose, otherwise I'd have included THIS, this is for a shop use box that will stay in the shop. If I really NEED a portable set I have one of THESE although that's the kit I'll likely put in the new toolbox, I bought a Kobalt equivalent to replace it since it has a spare drawer for what it's missing. For the most part I know what size I need so don't need a whole rack, but for the times I ask the wife to hand me something it would be nice if it was labeled...

Plus I think the top two should be removable easy enough by just lifting the whole thing (middle by grabbing the center divider, one of the reasons I was looking at it), just have to keep them upright...

A year or so ago I bought the Husky 52" matte black lower/upper combo and there isn't anything that can compare from Harbor freight. I bleed harbor freight but Husky has them beat on this one. Soft closing drawers, two power strips, magnetic back wall on the hutch part, and wait for it....bottle opener on the side. Come one, it has a bottle opener. You can't beat that. I got it for $799 back then and they are up to $898 now.

Me too... but they are going plastic (at least at HD) and they ain't cheap anymore!

I don’t like the metal ones. I like sockets that come in a container that has marked pockets for each size.
