Just suck it up and put on a mask. It's not that big a deal. They are not requiring you have it permanently surgically attached or something. They way people complain you'd think they were requiring a nose piercing or wanted to inspect if you were properly circumcised. Put the mask on, get what you need, remove the mask when you exit the store.
My friend's asthmatic child manages to wear one. My 16 year old daughter wears one during all of her soccer and basketball practices and games. It's not that difficult.
Amen. There is a good reason for the requirement.
I just can't believe the conspiracy theories that have sprung up around this. A couple of locals have real issues with it. One has decided that the entire medical profession, all of mainstream media, and our government are in on some conspiracy to get us all to wear masks. I just can't imagine living my life with that fear. When I ask "For what reason? What do they all get out of my wearing a mask?", I just get a strange look and some nonsensical response. I sent her instructions on how to make her own foil beanie to block the government mind control rays (since everyone knows the store-bought foil beanies contain secret embedded wiring and nano-circuitry too small to be seen by the naked eye that actually amplifies the rays). The other one gets all wound up about the government infringing on his rights. He seems to have no appreciation for the fact that his personal rights stop where they start interfering with someone else's health and well being. I suggested he should stop wearing clothing in public and drive 90 MPH in a 20 MPH zone since "no one should be able to infringe on his rights". Perhaps the folks at the McDonalds the next town over should stop washing their hands after going to the bathroom, since it's "their choice", and the government, the health experts and their employer should not be telling them how to live their life.
