Just purchased a 1/2" earthquake impact gun based on the reviews, looks very nice and it has 3 different torque settings. I will keep you posted with feedback after I use it awhile.

I've been using these cheap HF dollies for years:

They're rated for 1000# and at $8 apiece, are a great value. I have around a dozen that I use under small implements like FEL buckets, counterweights, pallet forks, etc. I have yet to break one.

I used two of them to make a rolling stand for my HF horizontal metal bandsaw. I also keep one of the larger ones handy for heavy moving tasks. I've gone so far as to build a fixture atop of the larger dollie to move a 600lb safe door.

They are great to have around for all kinds of tasks.

Which one? I just bought the closeout Earthquake Version 1 (red, cast aluminum) long nose version and it's all the power I need. Tractor lug nuts torqued then measured with a beam torque wrench: Setting #1, 110 ft lbs. Setting #2, 150 ft lbs. I didn't try #3, I don't want to rip the heads off the lugnuts. Not sure I have anything that needs setting #3. I'm sure it will dis-assemble anything I have.

Also by chance I found a HF #94802 tiny impact wrench at Goodwill for $5. I measured its two settings @ 45 and 75 ftlbs, just right for smaller bolts. It doesn't weigh much and looks like it should be a 3/8 tool but its 1/2". I found its manual, dated 2006. Its a better tool than the more recent cheap models.

Excellent info, mine is the same as yours except it's blue. Thanks for the torque specs I was going to do the same thing, I sometimes get into some bolts that my 1/2" craftsman just won't break loose. It was originally $169 on sale for $149.
