That's a bummer. According to the manual, the bulb is replaceable with a H3 bulb.

I have one that breaks down just like yours but it is a Sears Craftsman and maybe 20 years old.

If someone asked, I'd give it away. Those locking tabs are troublesome for arthritic hands.

Much rather have a Bosch "gravity-up" stand.

I've been in2 different HF stores in the last week. Both have a few predator generators that were returns marked down significantly. Not in the market for one but man is that tempting. Good idea on their part putting all the returns right out front where you walk in.

Oh my, thanks soooooo much! It is similar. just 35W in a 4411 sealed beam.
I recall these on old Jeeps and old Japanese import cars of the late 70s into the 80s.

And the price is REASONABLE too, just like HF !

The returns can be good, but sometimes the sale prices are better. I can't complain on either of my predator generators. The 2000 has been through hundreds of hours, storms, high humidity, etc. and still runs great.
