I have learned a lot about Tractors since coming to this place and I have seen a lot of guys get some good advice in this Forum, I drove a trailer for almost as long as as I have had a license I do not drive for a living anymore but I kept my A I have see my fare share of wacky, crazy I cannot believe he is doing that **** this is most of the reason I posted this tonight. I think there might be a few guys here that might like em' and others that just plain need them anyways I was going to post this in Bobcat Tractors but I thought it would be a better fit here well here goes.
I was just at Harbor Freight today and picked up a few of them
5/16"x20' grade 70 transport chains w/2 clevis hooks For only $19.99 coupon is good from June 25-29(Short coupon)Says on "back order" on line but you can still order them(shipping shows $10.99 to Texas for 4) Richardson,TX had 29 of them today after I checked out. I haven't seen it this cheap in long time especially since you get the hooks too, I know just the hooks at ATWOOD'S are better than $5ea. Harbor always has it on sale for $29.99 and I think Lowe's is around $35

You might also try price matching to Lowe's I did a while back when I did not feel like driving down to harbor on some chain binders they had on sale and they gave them to me for $9ea.+ tax($9.99 less 10 price match)

Funny, I just picked one of those up this afternoon (based on the email promo), and I was wondering if I shouldn't have gotten two.

I stretched it out from the truck when I got home, and this appears to be a pretty decent chain.

Edited to note that I did not print out the deal, and also saw the backorder notice on the website. I bookmarked it on my Blackberry and just showed the screen to the cashier (with the 19.99 deal). She had to get it "authorized" by a manager, who punched a couple keys without looking, and they honored the price based on my cell phone screen.
