Not sure if same fellow, saw a video of farmer lost both arms in accident driving 18 wheeler haulin grain. Pretty good driver too. Some folks just look what dey got and do best dey can wid it cause don't know other way.

Got baby sister never been able to read or write, something miswired in her brain. She took lot of crap growin up, set on dunce stool in school, got beat too. State wanted to put her in 'home'. When she maybe 8 she took to cookin & bakin and stop goin to school. She got so good at de bakin she sellin baked pies by time she 10. God might have took ability to read but he gave her ability to remember. Pretty sure she got New Testament remembered good enough to set Minister straight, and has so done. Teachin her to drive was lot of interesting. Somebody gotta take her new place first time she goes so she can remember route, and best not be no detours set up after. Might be wrong, but I think her greatest ability to laugh at herself. What she don't got only slow her little bit.

When I was delivering papers I remember seeing an article about a driver with no arms. The Pennsylvania Dept. of Motor Vehicles initiated a program that reviewed persons' disabilities and summarily revoked the license of a man with no arms. The gentleman promptly drove to the registry and had his license reinstated. The article showed a photograph of him sitting in his early 50's "turtleback" Mercury, one foot on the brake and the other foot grasping a spinner on the steering wheel.

I saw one of Andy's videos where he explained what happened to him, an auger accident when he was very young, I'm thinking 3 years old!

Maybe 30-40 years back when government got inta de change de language business some wastoid who could only hold government job invented new word "handycapable". Spent lot of money promoting, never flew.

Maybe I got different place I lookin from, but I tell you fortrue my baby sister not handicapped, she just got different eyeball connection to brain den most of world. 99% of people interact wid her never know she can't read, she very clever at hiding dat defect. Not even defect to her, all she ever knew so she grew up using what she had and de growin up pretty well. Somebody say handicap around her she generally asks who de handicap person is and what can be done to help dat person.

I remember buildin her first brick oven wid her and laugh. Still hear Momma in my head yellin to go look in de oven and see if Peggy in der. First oven not workin a month and Peggy makin fire bricks fer new oven dat be bigger. To her not whole lot difference mixin up bread dough or brick dough. She even learned from old fellow how to shape and how straw and sawdust important to dough. She knows whole lot of things I don't.

Remember we talkin on phone back when my hands so bad I couldn't hold knife to chop onion or button my pants. Other end of phone said go make button hook dummy, I think some on de knife. Button hook work pretty dang well. Just different abilitys and thinkin helpin each other out.

Remember too teachin her to drive car. I am NOT driving instructor, but we got it done. Remember too slidin planks and barrels under Henry J to get out of flood area. Peggy sure she needed to steer car chained to back of my truck wid couple tires. OK. Shoulda unhooked her horn.

Life be life, you get what you get. Take what you got and think up way to do best you can wid it.

I know a person who lost most of one arm and one leg as a teenager. This individual gets up and goes to work every day, has raised a family, and refuses to park in a handicapped spot. Yet there are abled bodied people getting disability checks. Strange world we live in.

Since I was a child, I've heard of the amazing ways people without hands use their feet instead. I'm guessing the ones who adapt best are the ones born that way. Young limber muscles seem to stretch better than old ones.

Difficult for me to imagine living like that. He is incredible. My toes are barely capable of finding their way into a pair of socks!

I don’t know if you really write like that or if you’re trying to be cute I’m inclined to go with the second one. But your post give most people a headache to attempt to read. I’ve seen some intelligent content in what little bit of your post I don’t skip over so I’m pretty certain you could manage to type in actual words.
