Seen this female northern harrier flying around my front field. She was about 150 yards out.
It appears a field mouse is having a bad day.

I have a big flock of quail living around my buildings so the harriers feed on them. This one is perched on the handrail of my deck waiting for his next meal - watching me as I take his photo from about 10 feet away. It was cold so he kept one foot warming in the feathers! Check out those claws!

grammer police would have a field day with my posts. you should see my texts. i used to use auto correct, but it kept changing the meaning of my texts.

one time i sent a text to a client that i was running late. at the end i said "im on my way"

the phone corrected it , and sent it, to say "your so gay"

thats the day i turned off auto correct
