Harv--The Newest Star Member

Yesterday, Harv was made a Star Member. Muhammad can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that Harv is the first member to achieve this distinction since the rules were changed to base Star Membership on overall contributions rather than just an arbitrary number of posts.

By this or any other criterion, no one deserves this more than Harv.

For those of you who are more recent members, I think it is fair to say that, aside from Muhammad himself, Harv has been the greatest influence on "picturizing" TBN through the use of digital cameras, signatures, and inline links. He also was famous for becoming a Gold Member before he even had a tractor (a record which Fishman may have tied).

Congratulations, Harv.

And as you say, I've learned a lot from Harv. It's been both educational and fun (and of course cost me money 'cause I had to go buy a digital camera/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif).

Yep, Harv deserves Star status. Harv's well-chronicled decision-making process before getting his tractor was one of the things that first hooked me on TBN. Anybody else remember Harv's signature while he was waiting for his tractor to be delivered? Hilarious!

And gosh, I didn't realize I was tied for some sort of record. Another 50 posts and I'd have gone platinum. Actually since I won't get my tractor until friday, I still have time! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif Naw, heck, I guess I'll be content to share with a STAR MEMBER!
