Has anyone adjusted the Loader Relief valves, or the system PSI ???

I checked mine a few months ago and it was ~ 100 PSI low, as I recall and adjusted it. Note there was a pressure difference on mine between checking the pressure at the rear remotes vs. checking at the various outputs of the loader control valve, from ~ 25 - 75 PSI lower at the valve outputs, as I recall. My factory manual specified to check the pressure at the rear remotes.

My main ( my terminology - first block the pump goes to under the tractor) relief was okay, but there is also a relief on the loader valve. Checking at the loader ports showed this relief to be about 4-500 low. Reducing the loader lift.

Well, I finally got around to adjusting the relief valve on my R3039H. I was reading a tad over 2200 psi, and the manual specs 2422. Didn't take five minutes. Loosened the jam nut, then turned the allen screw about a quarter turn. Checked again, and I was at about 2400, so that was close enough for me. Tightened jam nut, done! Haven't had a chance to test the lifting capability, but the loaded does seem to respond a bit quicker.

Where is this adjustment on an R4041? Looking at my manual and not quite sure where it is. Thanks.

I'm not certain on the 4041, but I'd be willing to bet its the same. The relief valve is located on the loader valve, under the right floorboard. The valve is at the top. Loosen the jam nut, (19mm) and turn the center (allen wrench) abaout a quarter turn at a time (a quarter was all I needed), then tighten jam nut.

I have the G3033 and I have a valve with a set screw below the fel lever and a set screw on the valve below the right floor board on that valve. Which one do you adjust for the loader bucket?

Have you checked your pressure to see if it is low? If so, loosen the lock nut, turn adjustment screw about 1/4 turn, check pressure.

Without the risk of sounding stupid, I assume you turn it clockwise ?
