Has anyone replaced the heater fan motor?

Mine is squealing like it's got a bad bearing. I pulled the grill and filter on the passengers side but the evaporator is right behind the filter. Has anyone pulled the fan/motor? Mine's an '09 D series. I'm trying to figure out how to get to it.
