Has anyone tried "sheep balls" in the dryer to reduce static cling?

If I tried that my clothes would be bone stiff, cold and still wet this time of year. we do three loads of laundry a day with two family in the house as well as a kid who creates an unbelievable amount of laundry.

I dry my clothes outside when the weather permits. Five to ten minuets in the dryer will soften them. Otherwise, its just me, here - - so its one load of clothes per week is about normal.

I don't know about "sheep balls". Never seen them in the meat market or laundry section of our local grocery store.

You had me at "Sheep Balls", Too funny. We use those Bounce Dryer Bars. One stick on bar lasts for weeks

Yeah we use those dryer balls. They get rid of static and help the load dry faster, win-win.

Perfume and chemical-laced dryer sheets are so disgusting, I can't believe everyone thinks they need them. Like when you go driving through a neighborhood in your car and can smell someone running the clothes dryer in their house from down the street - yuck!

Dryer softener sheets plug up your lint filter too.

I have a male dryer...... has three sets of wool balls. They tumble around with the clothes and end up separating the layers of cloth here and there so the air can circulate a little/dry a little faster.

The last that I had were flattened, breaded, and fried served with a horseradish sauce called mountain oysters.
