Has anyone used/bought a new GR series?

I have been looking at the GR series and I'm trying to get a chance to go to my local dealer and test drive one. I was wondering if anybody has bought one or had the chance to use one. I have used an AWS Craftsman and it worked very well. I like the feel of a LT/GT vs. a ZTR and the GR seems to be the best bet.

Any info would be appreciated!

I've sold 6-7 myself. I think its awesome! Once you have the chance to drive one you'll find its clearly better than an AWS system. You can drive tight circles on the pavement, in 4WD and never feel the front end fighting. Its a solid little tractor, Kubota seems to have faith in the technology. I've heard talk of moving parts of the platform into other lines.

Thanks for the info. Have you sold more gas or diesels? It seems that the diesel would be the way to go since the price difference isn't that much. That way you get the bigger deck and the power and reliability of a Kubota diesel.

Surprisingly its been diesel by a pretty wide margin. We kinda expected that there would be more gas since its a home owner machine, but most people do reconize the fact that its a Kubota diesel and are spending the extra money.

I priced/test drove a GR2000 just 3 hours ago. GREAT machine! Turns on a dime! With the $300 rebate my dealer quoted me $5950 plus tax for a total of $6307. Reasonable?

I took one home and mowed with it as soon as we designated a demo unit and sure was impressed with it. We had limited time to try it at the Dealer meeting and it is always good to mow your own place with it as a comparisson. I mowed with the diesel with the 54" deck and couldn't believe how nimble it was. I came back to the store the next and made a 35" disc to show people the turning radius. Not cheap, but a very good quality mower.
