You poor man, "trimmed the lawn twice" already. Here is the lawn still covered with a pleasant 3 feet of snow, keeping the garden nice and tidy!

We have an saying here;" if the snowcrust can carry a grown man on midsummers day, spring is late!"

I call <font color="red"> Feb 28 Th. </font> the last day of winter here.
Last night I heard the frogs hollering for the first time this year so that makes it official that winter's over here.

Yeah, pollen, I mean spring, is here.

For the past 30 years, my typical "new to me" car had 120K to 150K miles when I bought it..one truck had 220K before I became the proud owner (I've still got it). Fifteen months ago, I bought a brand new Chrysler 300C. The color is black. Talk about a pollen magnet and the heaviest is yet to come.

Pollen never used to bother me. Now it drives me crazy. All over two tons of metal that will depreciate into a pile of scrap over time.

Heard the first whippoorwills calling yesterday and saw the first lightening bugs (fireflies), so, yes I'd say that spring has arrived.
