Has wix gone south?

Must be a design change... The last one I remember looking at had metal threads in both
ends... I can kinda see using plastic in the sensor end as the sensor is plastic and prone
to breaking. Which end was plastic? the mounting end or the sensor end?

It is plastic in both ends.

He was going on a trip, starting today,so I told him to get a second one to keep in the truck and its the same way. Its also a Napa Gold/Wix filter.

Just coming back...

It was a design change but both wix filters have plastic ends... The metal one I was
thinking of fits another isuzu engine. I will say I've never seen one returned, that
number (duramax) anyway... (shrugs)
