OK, tractors lovers:

I've narrowed the field down to two tractors, and this is one of them. I stoped by my local Massey Ferguson dealer this past Saturday and set my backside on one of these and loved every second of it, as you can see the loader hasn't been installed yet but what a ride. As most of you know it's all Ieski built for Massey Ferguson, seems very basic tractor with the added bonus of a shuttel for forward and reverse. You have to be stoped for range and gear selection but for shuttel it's clutch but you don't have to come to a complete stop, not too much for my little brain to understand. Anybody have any comments about Massey Ferguson's new line of tractors or shoud I say the overhauled 1200 models.

The other tractor in the running is the Grand L3130, I like it as well but only posted these these pic's because you see Kubota's 3130 on here all the time with good info, but you don't see or hear much about the Massey Ferguson's and the section on here doesn't see to get much traffic.

my never ending quest to spend my cash wisely.. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Whiskey,

From what I heard they are good tractors and with Massey Ferguson you should get good service as long as your dealer is good.

You might want to place a post in the Iseki Discussion group and maybe some of them guys can help you.

Either tractor will do you good, pick the dealer you like.

I think Iseki is a sleeper... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The right advertising... this line would sell like hotcakes... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

A few summers ago, I bought a MF 1165 for my friends new home and 6 acre lawn (now up to about 11 acre lawn /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif)... The sixteen speed shuttle is more than he'll ever use...:D

Anyhow, I matched it up with 12' Befco batwing mower and that Massey just purrs like a kitten mowing that massive golf course like lawn...

I have to say, when I was shopping Massey, I was very impressed. My biggest problem with them was the pricing. I was quoted $22K for a 1250. I could get a Kubota 3010 for about $5K less at the time. They also don't seem to push the hydro's as only one of the 1250's I came across was a hydro.
I think that's a mistake in the medium size CUT market. If you get a competitive price and are happy with the dealer, I wouldn't hesitate.

In Ohio MF are available. They are very good tractors especially the big ones. I looked at the compact size and found them very nice they just didn't fit what I was looking for.

Soundguy:

I don't have the info setting here infront of me but I'll give it a whril.

33 h.p.
I don't recall on the weight but I don't think it was 3,000 lbs just a bit under
asking price
tractor 1433v $13,900
loader 1466 $3,445
total $17,345.00

and think we have some room to play with the numbers in there /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey Whiskey,

If your set on the Iseki, check out your local Agco dealer also, and if you have a Cat dealer that is handling the Challenger line they'll have them too. You might just like them better in orange or yellow.
