Hauler Fuel Mileage?

List your hauler; year, engine size, fuel mileage unloaded and loaded.

Since I don't haul much I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 6 cyl and average 17.1 mpg.

98 chevy K1500 4x4, 5.7 = 350, towing 7000lbs 11 mpg, empty city 16-17, empty freeway 18-21. 150,800 miles yahoo!

17+ mpg highway empty
12 mpg highway with 5,000 lb load. BX23, trailer, plus extras

2003 chevy 2500 HD , reg cab, long bed, 4x4, 3:73s, 265s, duramax with edge perf. chip, allison trans, 54k. 19 highway towing 18 foot open trailer with car on it, apprx wt. 7000 70-75 mph. 17mpg. towing haulmark 28 foot enclosed trailer , weight apprx. 11000 70-75mph. mostly flat terrain with some big hills. normal trip from clevland oh. area to seasal county maryland. 16 mpg around town, chip set on + 60 horse almost always

1995 F350 460 gas automatic 12 mpg empty 10 mpg pulling any trailer. (not good mpg but it's paid for)

My "truck" is a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT Supercab 2WD, 4.0L V-6, automatic. I don't do much hauling anymore either; just have a 4' x 8' trailer to haul a riding mower and until about 3 weeks ago, it had averaged 18.837. However, 3 weeks ago I bought a Fisher 1710 bass boat and I've only been getting between 15 and 16 pulling the boat.

By the way, it's a 2003 used boat with a 40 hp motor but it looks just like the 2006 on their website.

The Duramax with the allison trans seems to perform very well. Friend of mine has one and gets almost identical mileage results. The 3:73 rear makes a huge difference, lots of trucks come with the 4:10.

Is that hand calculated or from the readout on the truck? The chip will make it read 2-4 mpg more than reality...

2003 Chevy SIlveraldo 2500 HD Allison / Duramax ex-cab short box, 4x4, 3:73's, 245x75-LT. Highway mpg 21-23, mixed 18-20, towing 9500# of trailer and tractor 12.8-14. Overall milage since new 17.64.
