Hauling tractor with a dump trailer.

David,

Attached is a picture of an EZ Dumper trailer and the tractor I hauled in it occasionally. 10K#, 12ft X 6 ft 8 inch bed. Hydraulic up and down so no latch required. Ramps are stored over the fenders. Pivot point is at the rear of the bed so tilting the bed for loading does not help since the back of the trailer doesn't lower as you tilt. Its just like Panache described with a low profile and corner D rings for tie down. Properly balanced, the fel hangs over the front and rests on the battery box. You can still turn pretty sharp without denting the tailgate. Any rear implement just catches the rear edge and most of the implement hangs out the back. That's no big deal if the rear hydraulics don't leak and drift down. I just hang a red flag on the bush hog wheel. It works well for occasional hauling, especially if you consider how handy a dump trailer can be on-site and when you aren't hauling. If I could justify a second trailer for the tractor, I'd get a tilt bed.

Thanks to both John and L.B.

All great information. You folks have got me thinking about issues that I would have overlooked.

Thx,

David
