hauling tree trunks

I was wondering the same thing... seems like a lot of FEL weight for such a light rear ballast, even with loaded tires.
Yippee!

I'm almost thinking it's designed to drill angled holes. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey Bill - is that some kinda new, top secret PHD counterbalance that's under development over there at Henro Labs ?

I think you may be confusing me with the Junkman... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I thought the same thing too...normally I have something like my box blade on the back. The tires are filled, and the Rhino PHD is a couple hundred pounds...but still...more weight on the back would certainly be better...

Picture was taken in 2003 I think...beyond my recollection if the back end felt light or not...I don't think it did, but from this distance I would not bet on it. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I think the best suggestion was an old car hood...AKA stoneboats....before FEL's and tractors for that matter, farmers used to make and use stone boats for rocking their fields and for moving large logs for resawing or building.

I think he just screws it in the ground to keep it from tipping forward. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
