I was polled about 6 months prior to the last presidential election. I don't remember the name of the organization doing the polling but it sounded "official" at the time. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
They asked a LOT of questions about the economy, world affairs, "hotbutton" issues (abortion, gay rights etc.)
To this day I don't know which side they represented or if they represented anyone. The lady asking the questions was completely business like when speaking and the tone of the questions was not slanted either way, or if they were I was too dumb to pick up on it. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I have been polled a couple of times when it was obvious what answers they were looking for and in one instance they hung up on me when I answered the first question wrong! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
In all I can only remember participating in four polls in my lifetime and I'm old as dirt. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
