Have you had troubles finding ammunition ? 12 gauge and .22 ?

Hi! I just generally go to Wal-Mart. Here in Ohio,at least Southern Ohio, I have found plenty of ammo. don-ohio ^)

I was in K Mart the otherday and all ammunition was 40% off, all that was left was 20g and 12g. No 9mm anywere, SCheels had .22 long for $147 / 500:shocked:

Again I searching more ammo for the most used farm guns the .22 and 12 gauge and have found the local big box stores and most online dealers have none ! I bought all I could last week from the local dealers and will try again this morning as it seems we will soon not be able to easily replenish the shells as easily as we have in the past . How is the availability in your area ? or the online dealer you use ? The local dealers have really raised the price on what they do have , any suggestions ?:confused3:

12 gauge i could buy all day long, even at walmart (not sure if thier recent statement about pulling ammo has actually removed it from shelves?). 22 bulk is impossible to find, but i can find small boxes and cci boxes at a sporting goods store an hour from here. But 12 gauge has not been hard. You can buy most high powerd rifles to but pistol is impossible.

Seems to be plenty of 12 ga around here, but .22 is scarce, while .223 is almost non-existent.

GOM, Bass Pro @ exit 407 has tons of 12ga, zero .22lr, zero .223. I was just in there Sat night exchanging my "lifetime warranty wool socks".....I actually wore two pair out this last year.

I was in a walmart last Wend. they actually had a bod of 7.62x39 in stock a few 22cbs and shorts and plenty of 12ga, maybe a box of .223, and plenty of centerfire in about 2-3 different brands and grades.

yes it seems that way I bought 333 rounds of .22 a month ago from walmart for $10.95

Will check again this weekend, but none locally now and my sons and grandsons burned up a lot of ours at a pistol match last week; won first second and third place.:thumbsup:
