Don't seem to know what your problem is unless you got out of the wrong side of bed, but you must be smarter then everyone to know it all when most everyone in the State of New York doesn't. I for one don't like your condescending tone. If I offended you in any way that wasn't my intention. My whole point is to try and inform others in different states on what's the latest news in gun control for the state of New York, so I guess you must have missed that point.

It was interesting to note that the two biggest pistol sports and one of the biggest multiple gun sports were not mentioned in the new yuck law...

USPSA, IDPA and 3 gun...
I don't think they are formally recognized by the NRA....

I think technically and morally they are...if they have their service weapon with them. I think I remember this from my best friend in HS who's step dad was a city officer in our town. I think all municipalities have different policy though.

Yes, different policies for different departments, my son was a Police Officer for several years and he was expected to respond, some departments discourage carrying off duty and don't expect off duty to act, so policy would make a difference as to the "need" for increased capacity.

In that case I can see the rationale for increased magazine capacity for off duty. I do have mixed emotions about retired, but I don't live there, so I don't guess it really matters what I think as I am not affected.

Nope.. never claimed that. i simple read verbatum what was posted, and you can see directly what it does and does NOT include. Remember there is a huge list of exepmtions that needs to be researched as well.
