Have you seen the new CK2610?

I wonder if it could be "up-tuned" back to the 34 hp?

Stuff these days cant just be "up-turned". Its not as simple as the old days. They got the engine down under 25hp to meet Tier 4 emissions, they wouldnt let you turn it up so easily.

Note in the specs the engine has a smaller displacement. Probably a CK25/CK27 engine derivative.

Do we have loader specs on these yet?? They have their own loader, it's NOT the same loader that the CK3510 has.

EDITED: Just looked at my bill of sale and the loader is the KL2610, but from what the dealer said. It will have the same specs as the KL4010 that comes on the CK3510.

This tractor is the same size same frame same everything except the motor. The backhoes are interchangeable the loaders from what dealer said is the same just different numbers to match the tractor numbers. Hydraulics are the same, flow rates. So wouldn't make much sense to make the loader smaller than what the would work. But we will see when mine comes tomorrow. I will update on my new post with pictures.

Yep. I know the one I tried out (VERY nice tractor by the way) had its own loader designation, KL2610 sounds right. I'm not saying it's less, but if the KL4010 is 1,835 lbs, and the KL2510 is only 1,092 lbs, I wonder what the real numbers on the CK2610's loader will be......................

The dealer said it was the same, so we will see how honest he was with me. But, in my opinion and only MY opinion, it will be very close if not the same as the KL4010. Same tractor frame and same hydro performance.

Honestly, as long as it is over 1600lbs capacity, I'm happy. 1800 would be nice, but even if it is under what the KL4010 is, it will be more than the KL2510.

Shouldn't even be comparing a 2610 loader to a 2510 loader. Tractor frames are different, and so are the loaders. The KL130B is the old loader in the frame size, and that is the comparison loader to be looking at. The KL4010 is more loader than both, from what I understand. I have the KL130B and I think it's rated at about 1200 lbs or so. If you can lift 1600 to 1800 lbs, mind your counterweight. That's quite a step up from the old loader.

The CK3510 that he had on the lot had a KL4010 on it. CK3510 and CK2610 are same frame size. I'm hoping that the loader will do at least 1600, but either way even at 1200 for the money and the BH extra size, I would still be happy.

I'd have to agree with Gittyup. My CK30hst loader is the KL130 rated at 1200lbs. Larger diameter cylinders would give it more lift. If I have a heaped bucket of gravel or sand, the back of the tractor, non loaded rears, is light without an attachment. Get used to your new tractor and see how it feels.

I'm glad I got the tires filled then, just in case. Went with industrial tires which are heavier than AG and will hold more fill to.

We will see tomorrow, I have some wood to play with and get a feel for the tractor, baby steps!
