Please send some our way. We haven't had any measureable rain since last April. According to the National Weather Service total precipitation for calendar year 2020 is ~ 4 inches so far - and that's mostly from the first 3 months of the year.

I'm trying to mow some weeds right now and it is difficult - the ground is so dry and dusty the mower creates a huge dust cloud.

That is usually the way it is here. Our ground has a gentle slope right across it so never any flooding. If rain persists for a couple of weeks it turns to quicksand so the tractor has to stay in the shed. It has been bogged for several weeks on 2 occasions in the distant past.

Definitely miss rain like that here in this part of California...Good thing, too, with hillsides here at 35-45degrees.
