Hawk?

That bird is an imm. cooper's hawk. The adults have a blueish grey back with red coloring on the front and red eyes. That's a nice picture. Here's a picture for comparison, one's a female (the imm. ) and the adult is a male.

I was thinking it was a falcon. I have a pair that live on my property. They are rare in my area. Very beautiful birds.

That guy on the perch with the trainer is a prairie falcon, lives in none other, prairie type settings....

We got one of them prairie falcons in our back yard. Fun to wathc it hover in the air and watch for prey. It will sit in the wind for hours just hovering and then to see it dive is great.
