Hay Baler fan

Why? I've never had trouble with chaff and properly tuned knotters. They push it out of the way on their own.

Anybody use a small fan on their baler to keep the hay/dust of the knife/cutting area? I thought about getting a fan from Wally world and connect to a battery which would be located in one of the storage binds on the side. Thanks

The fines build up on the knotters but not enough to interfere with the operation. I just brush it off when I fill the twine box.

I've never had a problem just blowing it out at the end of the day or as mentioned just a quick brush when putting in new twine.

Heco knotter fans are stupid expensive. Why not get a couple pusher 12 volt fans from Flea Bay for 10 bucks each, mount them, run a 12 volt lead back to the tractor with a switch and be done with it, cheaper than a gas powered leaf blower.

The Heco fans are a stupid 220 bucks each. Thats insane.

As others have said If it ain't broke why fix it? I have used a baler for a week and not blown it off.
