How many remotes are needed for a round hay baler?

Depends on the baler, minimum one, generally most use two. You need one to open the gate, a second to operate the twin arms (or net wrap), unless it has electric twine tie, or a diverter valve to do both twin and gate functions. Some larger balers with a hydraulic lift pickup require a third valve to lift the pickup.

Mine uses one for the tailgate .... the twine is electric.
