I saw hay being baled outside of West Union (southern Ohio) a couple of days ago.

We've still got a barn full from last year. Winter was so mild I think we only fed about a third of what we usually do.

Same here. I usually figure on feeding 200 bales to the horses over winter. This year it was closer to 60 bales. Actually what I fed was from the previous year and I still have 40-50 bales left. I always like to keep plenty on hand in for fear of a really bad winter (like '77-78) but I hate having it around too long. But the horses came through looking good and healthy so it must be fine.
