HAY HOOK

/ HAY HOOK #2
A hay hook is about 11 inches long. The width at the handle is 4.5 inches and the hook part that sticks out is 3.75 inches from the main beam.

Thank you. On google I found some pictures and hooks to e-bay. What is the best shape for work? I tried to produce some but I did not work well with them.

I don't like hay hooks. I find them more cumbersome to use than just grabbing the bale by the twine. If you are on a wagon piling hay behind the baler they take more time to get out of the bale and end up falling behind unless there is two of you on there.

I would keep experimenting until you find a shape that works for you.
